How do I add my employees to the employee directory?

Any employees you would like to be notified when their guests arrive, should be listed in the Employee Directory.

 

Manually Add Your Employees

  1. Open a Web browser from your computer.
  2. Navigate to the Visitu Web Dashboard: https://app.visitu.co
  3. Login to Visitu with your credentials.
  4. Click the briefcase icon in the top nav menu.
  5. From the Employee Management page click the "+New Employee" button.
  6. Enter the Employee's First and Last Name
  7. Enter the Employee's Email Address.
  8. Enter the Employee's SMS/Phone number (optional)
  9. Enter the Employee's Title (optional)
  10. Click Create.

The Employee should now show up under the Employee Management section in the database.

 

Import your Employees with a CSV file

Visitu allows you to upload your employees via a CSV file. This makes the process automatic and much easier for locations with a large amount of employees.

Follow the steps below to upload your employees with a CSV file:

  1. Open a Web browser from your computer.
  2. Navigate to the Visitu Web Dashboard: https://app.visitu.co
  3. Login to Visitu with your credentials.
  4. Click the briefcase icon in the top nav menu.
  5. From the Employee Management page click the "Import Employees" button.
  6. Download our Visitu Employee CSV template
  7. Enter your employee information in the correct fields. *Important Step*
  8. Once the information is entered correctly save the file to your desktop.
  9. From the Import Employees page, click Choose File
  10. Select the Employee CSV you just filled out and saved.
  11. Click the Upload button.

After your Employee CSV is uploaded and populated to the Employee Management database, verify the information for your employees is correct.
