Brother QL-820NWB Printer: Bluetooth Set-Up

Use the article below to configure your Brother QL-820NWB Label Printer to connect to your iPad via a Bluetooth connection.

STEP 1: Press the power button to turn on the printer. Make sure the green status light comes on.

STEP 2: Press the [Menu] button.

STEP 3:  Using the [▲] and [▼] buttons, select Bluetooth > Bluetooth (On/Off) > On in the settings menu, then press [OK].

STEP 4:  Using the [▲] and [▼] buttons, select Bluetooth > Automatic Reconnection > On in the settings menu, then press [OK].

STEP 5:  Press the back [↩] button to return to the main screen.

STEP 6:  You should then see the Bluetooth  symbol in the top right corner.

 

Bluetooth Pair the Brother QL-820NWB Printer with your iPad

STEP 1: On your iPad, open the iOS Settings app. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.

STEP 2: Ensure that Bluetooth is turned ON.

STEP 3: Under Devices, look for Brother QL-820NWBxxxx, like “Brother QL-820NWB1234.”

NOTE: The series of 4 digits at the end of the device name identify your specific printer. We recommend writing these digits on the back or bottom of your printer.

STEP 4: Make sure the Brother QL-820NWB printer is paired/connected.

STEP 5: Close the iPad Settings app.
